This series pays homage to their enduring appeal and the indomitable spirit they embody—a tribute to the rebel in all of us.

I wanted to tell a story about a girl encountering genuine freedom and rebellion for the first time, a transformative moment in her life. Enter Kayla, a rare individual who genuinely embraces life from its core. That's precisely why she stood out as the first and only choice for this series. She embodies a living definition of rebellion for me, so this series is also a heartfelt celebration of her.
